Sixshooters Aguirre No-Hits MotorBoaters Sunday, May 18th , 2053 In a dominant outing, Miguel Aguirre of the Westwood Sixshooters totally silenced the bats of the Lake Murray MotorBoaters, finishing with a no-hitter. In the Sixshooters' 3-0 victory, Aguirre faced only 31 batters, surrendered no hits, had 8 strikeouts and 3 walks. "Honestly, I didn't even know the situation was what it was until the seventh inning," Westwood manager Héctor Montoya said. "I happened to look up there to see how many hits we had gotten, and I happened to notice that they hadn't gotten any." Commenting on the defeat, losing manager William Smith had a "pretty simple" analysis of the game. "The Sixshooters had all the hits and all the runs, so they won," he snapped.
