The future looks extremely bright for Héctor Chávez. At the age of 23, many players are still trying to find their way in M3L Double A.
Chávez has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the M3L Double A Outstanding Hitter Award.
"I didn't expect to hit .288 this year, that's for sure," the first baseman said.
The Casper Ghosts star also put up a .397 on-base percentage this year, with 105 hits, 17 doubles, 3 triples, 26 home runs, 73 RBIs and 65 runs scored.
He received 12 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Tomás Pereira of the Casper Ghosts finished second in voting, while José Téllez of the Lake Murray MotorBoaters finished third.
