Postseason Bid Ends for Westwood Saturday, September 6th , 2053 It wasn't meant to be for the Westwood Sixshooters this year. Despite a tough battle, they were eliminated from playoff contention today. "It is a bad feeling," said Sixshooters reliever Ferry Zwaan. "Once you get into the playoffs, anything can happen. But you've gotta get in there first, and we weren't able to do that." Before this season, the Sixshooters last missed the playoffs in 2051. In the 15 years they have been a M3L Double A franchise, they have missed the playoffs 13 times. Westwood last won the 3L AA Championship in 2052. |
