Bad Behavior Costs McCaffery and Morehead Saturday, August 23rd , 2053 Andrew McCaffery of the Pennsauken Flyers and Jeff Morehead of the Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 8 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Flyers-Squirrel Monkeys game at Pennsauken Park. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN McCaffery and Morehead will begin serving them soon. This season McCaffery is batting .248 with 37 hits and 8 home runs. He has scored 17 times and has 22 RBI. This season Morehead has made no relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 9-4 won-lost mark and a 2.30 ERA. In pitching 109.1 innings, he has totaled 84 strikeouts and 23 walks. |
