Squirrel Monkeys Jones and Fighting Dachshunds Morris Suspended for Fight Monday, August 11th , 2053 David Jones of the Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys and Joe Morris of the Ellenburg Fighting Dachshunds will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 8 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Squirrel Monkeys-Fighting Dachshunds game at The Zoo in Syracuse. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Jones and Morris will begin serving them soon. This season Jones is batting .268 with 14 home runs. He has scored 50 runs and driven in 31. |
