Collins Gone for Season in Kansas Thursday, May 8th , 2053 The Kansas Rainbeaus were dealt a severe blow when Jerry Collins was hurt throwing a pitch recently in a game against the Syracuse Starks. After the game, the team trainer reported Collins might have to spend a lengthy time on the injured list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 26-year-old reliever out for the rest of the season with ulnar nerve entrapment. They indicated it would take Collins at least 6 months to heal. |
