Star of the Week Awarded in PAAA Monday, September 15th , 2053 Few players his age are still in the league, but Charles Godard of the Syracuse Starks clearly loves the game and clearly he can still get the job done. Last week the 37-year-old center fielder hit the ball with the consistency of someone ten years younger, which made Godard a popular and well-deserved selection as USPL Triple A Player of the Week. He paced the Starks attack by putting up a .750 batting average, 3 hits in 4 at-bats, 4 RBIs and 1 home run. Godard also scored 1 run. So far this season Godard is hitting .249 with 8 home runs. |
