Blitzkrieg Libbinga Out Rest Of Season Thursday, May 22nd , 2053 Barnes Libbinga has to call it a season. The Port Huron Blitzkrieg second baseman sustained a season-ending injury against the Florida Men and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Libbinga was injured while making a defensive play. His doctors diagnosed it as a concussion and stated that he would not be able to play for 4-5 months. Thus far this year Libbinga has hit .286 with no home runs and 7 RBIs. |
