Port Royal's Correa Takes Best Pitcher Prize Wednesday, October 8th , 2053 The Port Royal Disaster have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making. It's José Correa, this year's M3L Triple A Outstanding Pitcher Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance. Correa compiled a 9-3 record in 21 starts, tallied 91 strikeouts in 147 innings and recorded a 2.39 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .255 batting average against him. He received 7 first place votes out of a possible 12. Edmund Rochefort of the Nashville Hot Chickens finished second in voting with 5 first place votes, while Nathan May of the Jersey City Tritons finished third.
