3AAA's Star Player Named Monday, September 8th , 2053 Pitchers who faced the Port Huron Blitzkrieg last week were happy to see Sergio López in the rear-view mirror. The 28-year-old left fielder was dubbed the M3L Triple A Player of the Week for a 6-game tear that saw him hit at a .407 clip. For the week he also chalked up 11 hits in 27 at-bats, 5 home runs, 14 RBIs and 8 runs scored. Presently López is batting .239 with 61 hits and 18 home runs. He has knocked in 46 runs and scored 45 times. |
