Playoffs? No Chance for Hamilton Sunday, August 24th , 2053 Fans of the Hamilton Thunderbirds will no doubt soon start turning their attention to next season -- if they haven't already. The team today was officially eliminated from playoff contention. The Thunderbirds have missed the playoffs 34 times in their 35 years as a M3L Triple A franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 3rd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2050. In the last 10 seasons, the Thunderbirds have only made the playoffs once. Hamilton last won the 3L AAA Championship in 2015. |
