3AAA Awards Best Batter Prize to Williams Monday, August 18th , 2053 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the M3L Triple A, but last week Hudson Williams of the Vermont Lake Monsters reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Williams rocked opposing pitching for a .562 average (9-for-16), 4 home runs and 12 RBIs to come away with the award. So far this year, Williams is batting .254 with 13 home runs and 50 RBIs. |
