Román Merced Out for Season Sunday, July 27th , 2053 The Florida Men were dealt a blow today when center fielder Román Merced left the game with an undisclosed injury. The team has now revealed that Merced has suffered a severely strained hip muscle and will most likely miss the rest of the season as a result of the injury. Presently Merced is batting .299 with 75 hits and 21 home runs. He has knocked in 52 runs and scored 43 times. |
