Super Swinger -- Anderson Slams 5 Hits Tuesday, May 27th , 2053 Donald Anderson knows as well as anyone that in baseball, the biggest contracts go to the biggest hitters. At Mamba Park today, he made his case to be considered among that group. The 22-year-old right fielder hammered 5 hits in 7 chances, though the remarkable effort came even as his Austin Black Mambas fell, 6-5, to the Hamilton Thunderbirds. "We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it," Thunderbirds manager León Domínguez told BNN sportswriters after the game. "Thankfully, we were able to do enough elsewhere that Anderson wasn't the difference." Donald Anderson singled in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, struck out in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 8th, singled in the 11th and singled in the 13th.
