Cho Gets September's Rookie Trophy Wednesday, October 1st , 2053 He might be new to the league, but Cheol-han Cho of D.C. is a player. He proved it this month with a sensational 2-0 won-lost mark and impressive 0.72 ERA. For that strong performance Cho was named the Menard's Third League Rookie of the Month. In September he started 4 games, tossed 25 innings, yielded 12 base hits, fanned 39 and walked 3. Opposing hitters combined for a .143 average against him. This season Cho has a 8-3 record with a 1.93 ERA in 21 starts. |
