González Crowned Batter of the Month in June Tuesday, July 1st , 2053 Charleston Battery fans believe they've got a talented young star in Edgar González. He did nothing to dissuade that notion in June, as he hit .325 with 8 home runs, 22 RBIs and 16 runs scored. The end result was the left fielder being named the Menard's Third League Batter of the Month. Looking at his stats this year, González has compiled a .267 batting average, while hitting 12 home runs and driving in 37 runs. He has played in 45 games and scored 31 runs. |
