Pittsburgh, Las Vegas Confirm Deal Saturday, June 28th , 2053 It likely won't turn either team into an instant contender or provide a huge franchise shakeup, but the Pittsburgh Kingfishers and Las Vegas Flamingos finalized a trade today. Pittsburgh will send 26-year old minor league RHP Ed Jenkins to the Flamingos, while the Kingfishers will receive 21-year old minor league RHP Luis Romero and $5 in cash. "We think this is a deal that will help out both teams and we're glad to get it done," Kingfishers general manager Tyler Johnson said. The trade is expected to be officially completed later today with the players joining their new ballclubs by the end of the day. |
