Bad News for Wagner and Ft. Worth Monday, October 13th , 2053 Joe Wagner, reliever for the Ft. Worth Cattlemen, was making great progress in healing a stiff back according to a team spokesman, but suffered a setback yesterday. "Joe was doing great in his rehab until he overdid it in a recent workout. Now doctors say it will be at least one week before he will be able to rejoin the club." So far this year Wagner has delivered no saves. In no relief appearances he has 87 strikeouts in 85.1 innings with a 4.11 ERA and 6 wins and 4 losses. |
