Recovery Slow for Hurricanes Nelson Fernández Wednesday, September 10th , 2053 Nelson Fernández, shortstop for the Cape Coral Hurricanes, was making great progress in healing a strained back muscle according to a team spokesman, but suffered a setback yesterday. "Nelson was doing great in his rehab until he overdid it in a recent workout. Now doctors say it will be at least one week before he will be able to rejoin the club." So far this season Fernández has hit .160 with 10 home runs, 27 RBIs and scored 20 times. |
