Méndez's Treatment Not Going Well, Suffers Setback Saturday, August 30th , 2053 Hollywood Shredders first baseman António Méndez got another setback today. His doctors informed him that his injury was not responding to treatment as well as they hoped and that he would need more time to rehabilitate. If all goes well, they expect Méndez to be ready to go within 4 months. He told BNN, "I didn't expect a broken hand to take this long to heal." António Méndez is expected to undergo surgery in West Hollywood(California) tomorrow. To date this season Méndez is hitting .250 with 6 home runs. |
