Mockingbirds, Lighthouse Confirm Deal Monday, August 4th , 2053 The Mockingbirds and Lighthouse announced a deal that was completed today. Mississippi sent 34-year old 3B António Macías to Long Island for 17-year old minor league 1B Tekukuni Aukake and 21-year old minor league LF Jesús Chavarría. Both teams appear happy with the outcome of the trade. The general managers told the Baseball News Network they felt the swap was beneficial for all parties involved. Mississippi will retain a portion of Macías's remaining contract. This season Macías is batting .213 with 7 home runs. |
