PA Names Top Player of the Week Monday, August 4th , 2053 USPL Single A pitchers tried and tried all week long to stop Franky Bongers, but to no avail. His eyes would light up when he came to the plate and he hit everything in sight, batting .333 for the week to win the PA Player of the Week Award. The Smoky Mountain shortstop cracked 8 hits in 24 at-bats, 2 home runs, drove in 11 runs and scored 4 times. Hitting .230 to date, Bongers has 5 home runs and 29 RBIs. He has played in 63 games. |
