Caterpillars Pitching Ravaged by Jones Saturday, July 26th , 2053 J.R. Jones did a number on the Caterpillars in the Cut Off 8-0 victory today, and the number was 5. The Crawdads catcher banged out 5 hits in 5 at-bats at The Cocoon to lead his club past the Grand Forks Caterpillars. "I felt good in the batter's box today," he said later. "I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done." J.R. Jones singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
