Season May Be Over for Yinzers Ainsworth Wednesday, July 16th , 2053 Steven Ainsworth will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Monroeville starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Ainsworth was injured while throwing a pitch in the Yinzers-Arryns clash at Dragoons War Memorial Stadium recently. Doctors said he has a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and would be out a minimum of 8-9 months. In season stats Ainsworth shows a 2-4 record in 13 games, 58 innings, 29 strikeouts and a 4.34 ERA. |
