Smoky Mountain's Burke Will Miss Season Monday, July 14th , 2053 Doctors in Smoky Mountain said Horace Burke might not play anymore this year. The Hobeaus center fielder suffered a broken bone in the elbow during a game against the Columbia River Rats and will be out for at least 4-5 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season. Burke is batting .247 with 9 home runs and 22 RBIs this season. |
