Grand Forks Center Fielder Picked PA Player of the Week Monday, May 26th , 2053 John Rice is respected by most Grand Forks Caterpillars fans for his no-frills style of play. The 21-year-old center fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the USPL Single A Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .636 average (7-for-11) with 1 home run, 9 RBIs and 6 runs scored. For the year Rice is batting .319 with 1 home run. |
