August's SA Batter of Month Award Announced Monday, September 1st , 2053 When Don Hickman stepped up to the plate in August he did it with confidence, and today he was honored with the USSL Single A Batter of the Month award. The young Put-In-Bay third baseman posted a .362 batting average with 5 home runs, 15 RBIs and scored 11 runs. Hickman also worked pitchers for 11 walks to post a .441 on-base percentage. This season Hickman has hit at a .280 clip with 51 RBIs, 18 home runs and 47 runs scored. |
