SA's Best Player Named Monday, August 18th , 2053 It was a fantastic week for Delmarva first baseman Yerson Acevedo and it was capped off today with the announcement that he was named the winner of the USSL Single A Player of the Week Award. Last week Acevedo hammered the ball at a torrid .467 pace, going 7-for-15 with 4 home runs, 7 RBIs and 5 runs scored. This season Acevedo has hit at a .225 clip with 39 RBIs, 17 home runs and 23 runs scored. He has played in 50 games. |
