Alaskan Loses Colón for Year
Saturday, September 6th , 2053
When Cristián Colón was hurt against the Chicago Tula, the Alaskan Bush Pilots were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 22-year-old reliever suffered a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Colón would miss 12 months of the season.
So far this season Colón is 3-and-2 with 2 saves and a 2.77 ERA. He has given up 41 hits in 55.1 innings with 68 strikeouts.
