The Lighthouse was the site for United States Silver League action featuring the Long Island Lighthouse and Oakland Oaks.

The Oakland Oaks knocked off the Long Island Lighthouse, 6-3, at The Lighthouse. Pineki Walekino was a big reason Oakland won. The right fielder went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Kjeld Burger, the winner, improved to 7-2. He held Long Island to 2 runs on 4 hits over 6.1 innings, while racking up 6 strikeouts.

Ostoja Popovic helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he cranked a 2-run double to give Oakland a 2-0 lead.

"I had some good swings out there," said Walekino.

After today's action, Oakland sits at 46-41, while Long Island falls to 41-46.
