The Hollywood Shredders defeated the Ft. Worth Cattlemen, 7-4, in United States Silver League action at The Cattle Pen. Hollywood pitcher Ismael Mena had a standout performance. Mena got the win, improving to 7-7. He allowed 4 hits and walked 3 over 5.2 innings. Mena allowed 2 runs. Hollywood is 7th in the Silver League with a record of 43-44.

Dustin Tate made an early impact for Hollywood when he stroked his 6th triple of the season. The 2-run triple, which came with two out in the top of the second, put the Shredders on top, 2-0.
