Arryns Clip Blaze 3-2 in R1 Contest
With second baseman Kauno Sihvonen leading the charge, the Lake Erie Arryns got a road win over the South Beach Blaze, 3-2, in Game 2 of the PL A Championship today. Sihvonen was 3-3 with a double and 2 singles at The Ballpark on the Beach to help Lake Erie force a 1-1 tie in the best-of-3 series.

Lake Erie used the timely hitting of Richard Oliver to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Arryns on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

Sihvonen attributed the win to "a well-rounded effort by the whole team."

The next game is set to be played for Thursday, September 11th , 2053 at Arryns Ballpark in Fredonia.
