Shredders Win at Baltimore, 4-1
|
Pitcher Tim O'Heyne was sensational for the Hollywood Shredders in his team's 4-1 triumph over the Baltimore Bullets. O'Heyne picked up the win, and it was well-earned. Félix Hernández earned the save, his 15th, for the Shredders. With the win, the Shredders have a record of 35-39.
Hollywood relied on the hitting of Benno Luby to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a solo home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Shredders on top, 2-0. For the game, Luby had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"Tim was pounding the zone," said Hollywood manager Bill Cheese.
