Cattlemen Beat Grey Wolves, 4-1
|
The MSL Ft. Worth Cattlemen got a strong performance from pitcher José García, who stymied the MSL Vancouver offense en route to a win, 4-1, at MSL Ft. Worth Ballpark. The Cattlemen raised their record to 14-32.
The Grey Wolves had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Cattlemen going into the bottom of the third inning. That changed quickly when the 17-year old center fielder Si-on Kim came to the plate. Kim hit a solo home run on a 1-2 fastball from MSL Vancouver hurler Kaoru Abe. It was Kim's 2nd home run of the year.
"We'll savor this win," Kim told the MSL Ft. Worth Citizen, "then get ready for the next game."
