Shredders Cut Down Cattlemen, 7-5
The MSL Hollywood Shredders topped the MSL Ft. Worth Cattlemen by a score of 7-5. Leading the way was center fielder António Torres. Torres hit 2 home runs for the Shredders. António Ramírez, now 2-1, picked up the win in relief. He allowed 3 runs on 7 hits in 2 innings. Juan López was credited with the save for MSL Hollywood, his 3rd of the season.

MSL Hollywood used the timely hitting of Luis García to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Shredders on top, 6-5. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"First place," said Shredders manager Arnold Magowan. "This is right where we want to be."

The Cattlemen, now 11-28, have lost 5 straight.
