Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Billy Goats
|
MSL Colorado designated hitter Khusila Lolla had 3 ribbies while helping his team defeat the MSL Cape Coral Hurricanes, 5-2. Seung-ho Chi picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-1. Carlos Rodríguez was tagged with the loss. With the win, the Billy Goats improved to 17-19.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With no one out, Lolla hit a sinker from Armando Ruíz for a 3-run home run. The Billy Goats, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"We got what we needed when we needed to," said MSL Colorado manager Louie Vera.
