Toledo left fielder Max King helped his team beat the Colorado Billy Goats, 6-3. King, who is tied for 2nd in the SL with a .314 batting average, went 4 for 5 for the Stingers. Joaquín Herrera was the winning pitcher. Over 5 innings, he allowed 1 run on 3 hits, with 2 walks and 5 strikeouts. The save was credited to Richello Dosono, his 13th.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Ijsbert Reynoud? The Toledo third baseman had a 2-run double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Stingers on top, 3-1. For the game, Reynoud had 2 doubles and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
