Bullets Come Back Late to Clip Lighthouse
The exploits of catcher Michael Austin, who is tied for 2nd in the SMSL with a .464 on-base percentage, helped the MSL Baltimore Bullets defeat the MSL Long Island Lighthouse, 2-1. Austin went 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk. The winner in relief was Hi-gor Sim. He is now 3-1. The right-hander allowed 1 run on no hits in 2 innings. MSL Baltimore now has a record of 8-5 with the win.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With no one out, Austin hit a fastball from Carlos Sandoval for a solo home run. The Bullets, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Austin. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
