White Walkers Sneak By Kingfishers, 2-1

The MSL Buffalo White Walkers and MSL Pittsburgh Kingfishers put on a pitchers' duel.
The MSL Buffalo White Walkers went home winners at MSL Pittsburgh Ballpark, thanks in large part to starter Dong-hua Wang. Wang stifled the MSL Pittsburgh Kingfishers, enabling MSL Buffalo to grab the 2-1 win. Sergio Romero, now 5-0, was credited with the win. He allowed no runs on 1 hit, while striking out 1 and walking 0. Earning his 6th save of the year was Chris van Zelst.
MSL Buffalo used the timely hitting of Kidlat Pimentel to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the White Walkers on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"I'm proud of the way we took care of business and got the 'W' today," Pimentel told the MSL Buffalo Gazette. "Whatever it takes."
The White Walkers move to 26-22 with the win, while the Kingfishers drop to 28-20.
