Voodoo, Vargas Deal U-18 3-0 Setback
|
The MSL New Orleans Voodoo picked up a win at MSL ACKC Ballpark, courtesy of Alejandro Vargas. The right-hander helped his team stop the MSL Athletic Club KC U-18, 3-0. The Voodoo sit in 7th place in the PL MSL with a record of 20-25.
The standout performance belonged to 18-year-old Vargas. With his baby face, he looked more like someone starting for a high school team than for the Voodoo. His performance, however, was nothing short of top-notch. The youngster dominated the U-18, striking out 3 and scattering 3 hits over 7.2 innings. Vargas is now 5-6 on the season.
"I had pretty good command out there," said Vargas.
