No one was more impactful than Jesús Vázquez in the 7-0 MSL Pittsburgh win over MSL Athletic Club KC. Vázquez, who is tied for 7th in the PMSL in home runs with 8, belted 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Getting the save was Aongatu Malamanana, his 2nd. MSL Pittsburgh is now 27-15, 2½ games up in the PL MSL.
MSL Pittsburgh left fielder Suk-jin Chong delivered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the sixth. Overall, he went 3 for 4, including 1 home run, 1 single, and 1 double. He scored 2 runs and batted in 2.
Vázquez said the win provided a "big morale boost" for the team. "There's a good feeling in the clubhouse right now."
