Kingfishers Get 6-3 Win Versus MSL New Orleans
|
Gonzalo Valéncia was a major contributor to the 6-3 MSL Pittsburgh win over MSL New Orleans. The Kingfishers third baseman was 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. At 25-13, the Kingfishers are currently first in the PL MSL.
Valéncia made an early impact for MSL Pittsburgh when he stroked his 7th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which came in the bottom of the second, put the Kingfishers on top, 4-1.
"We took advantage of our opportunities," Valéncia told the MSL Pittsburgh Times. "It's as simple as that."
