Win Lifts White Walkers to 16-11
|
The MSL Buffalo White Walkers earned a win at MSL Buffalo Ballpark, stopping the MSL San Mateo Dirty Reds, 4-2. Starting pitcher Dong-hua Wang played a big role in his team's success. Chris van Zelst nailed down his 2nd save. The White Walkers bumped their record to 16-11 with this win.
The White Walkers got a big at-bat from left fielder Alonso Medina. For the game, Medina was 1 for 3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 4th home run of the season gave MSL Buffalo a 3-1 lead.
"It was sure nice to get the win but there's a lot of baseball left," Wang after the game.
