Patriots Topple 84s, 7-1

MSL Boston Ballpark was the site for USPL Mexican Summer League action featuring the MSL Greenville 84s and MSL Boston Patriots.
Pitcher Bud Justice was sensational for the MSL Boston Patriots in his team's 7-1 triumph over the MSL Greenville 84s. Justice picked up the win, and it was well-earned. Justice picked up the win for MSL Boston, going 6 innings. He gave up no runs on 2 hits. He now sports a record of 2-3. Roberto Cerda was credited with the save for MSL Boston, his 1st of the season.
The Patriots got an important contribution from designated hitter Andrés López, who in the bottom of the third punched a 1-2 fastball into center for a 2-run double. It was his 3rd double of the season and put the Patriots ahead, 3-0.
"This was a good win for us," said Justice. "It's one more step toward our ultimate goal."
The Patriots, at 16-10, lead by one game in their division.
