Dirty Reds Rally For 3-1 Win
Cisco Rodríguez pitched well, but his team, the MSL Buffalo White Walkers, still dropped a 3-1 decision to the MSL San Mateo Dirty Reds at MSL Buffalo Ballpark. Luis Cortéz got credit for the win, improving to 2-1. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2 innings. The win puts the Dirty Reds at 10-16, while the White Walkers drop to 15-11.

MSL San Mateo used the timely hitting of Wilson Ortíz to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Dirty Reds on top, 3-1. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

Ortíz expressed little emotion after the game. "Every game we win now," he said, "is one less win we'll need to get in the end."
