Kingfishers Down Dirty Reds, 7-2

The home crowd had a good time watching the MSL San Mateo Dirty Reds and MSL Pittsburgh Kingfishers get after it.
The MSL Pittsburgh Kingfishers downed the MSL San Mateo Dirty Reds, 7-2, at MSL Pittsburgh Ballpark. Suk-jin Chong led the way, going 2-for-3 for MSL Pittsburgh. The winner in relief was Alfonso Torres. The right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits in 2.1 innings. He now owns a record of 1-0.
Bartolo Costa came through for MSL Pittsburgh when he hit a grand slam home run in the bottom of the fourth. With the bases loaded, he hit a two-strike fastball to left field, staking his team to a 6-2 lead.
"Today was a lot of fun," said Chong.
The 'W' lifts MSL Pittsburgh's record to 9-8.
