MSL Greenville got a valiant performance from pitcher Cristo Rodríguez, but it wasn't enough to beat the MSL Montana Pandas. MSL Montana won the game, 3-2. Rodríguez threw 7.1 innings allowing 2 runs for the losing team. MSL Montana reliever Pedro Rodríguez picked up the win, raising his record to 1-0. Nicolo Dazzi was tagged with the loss. The win has MSL Montana at 6-10.
MSL Montana won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With two outs and Nicolo Dazzi on the mound for MSL Greenville, second baseman Norberto Rojas hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Pandas fans to their feet.
In postgame comments, Rojas said he was glad to contribute to an exciting win.
