Dirty Reds Topple Patriots, 7-6, as Flores Shines
MSL San Mateo beat MSL Boston at MSL San Mateo Ballpark, escaping with a 7-6 win. The win in large part was due to second baseman Miguel Angel Flores. He was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The win belongs to Jesús Villalobos in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Pedro Rodríguez took the loss for MSL Boston. Robun Fujihara was credited with the save for MSL San Mateo, his 1st of the season.

In the bottom of the eighth, Flores put his team in front with his 2nd home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which came against Pedro Rodríguez, made it 7-6, MSL San Mateo.

"It was a nice win for our side today," said Dirty Reds manager Andrés Ventura. "Not perfect, but we'll take it."
