In a low-scoring game between MSL New Orleans and MSL Montana, pitcher Alejandro Vargas was excellent. The MSL New Orleans right-hander helped his team knock off the Pandas, 3-1. The Voodoo improved to 5-9.
The Voodoo liked what they saw from Vargas. The 18-year old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Pandas to 1 run on 1 hit over 6 innings, and striking out 12.
"Tough loss," said MSL Montana manager Hong Wei Cao. "But we'll learn from it."
