Patriots Squelch Dirty Reds Offense in Shutout Win
|
The MSL Boston Patriots went home winners at MSL San Mateo Ballpark, thanks in large part to starter Cordell Dawson. Dawson stifled the MSL San Mateo Dirty Reds, enabling MSL Boston to grab the 5-0 win. The Patriots have an impressive 8-5 record.
Javier Martínez, the 16-year old third baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Martínez contributed a solo home run in the top of the third inning to put MSL Boston up, 2-0.
"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Martínez.
